DELE Exam Preparation Course Characteristics
- Duration: 4 or 5 weeks, with the option of adding extra week
- 20 Spanish language lessons per week
- 5 culture lessons per week
The DELE (Diploma for Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only official certificate for foreign students recognized by the Instituto Cervantes. This diploma serves as an invaluable asset for students wishing to pursue studies at a Spanish university or employment in a Spanish-speaking country.
At Enforex Valencia, we will prepare you to pass the DELE exam at any of its 3 levels:
- Nivel Inicial: Certificate of Spanish at an elementary level.
- Nivel Intermedio: Diploma of Spanish at an intermediate level.
- Nivel Superior: Diploma of Spanish at an advanced level.
Due to the intensity and rapid progression of the DELE exam preparation course, we strongly recommend that individuals wishing to take this course be at least 16 years of age.
The exam dates are scheduled by the Instituto Cervantes (see 2007 course and exam dates below).
Applying for the DELE Exam
If you would like Enforex to handle your exam application, all you need to do is pay an administration fee (in addition to the exam fee) and send us the following information at least one month before the exam date:
- Your full personal data (full name, birth date, nationality, etc.)
- A copy of your passport
- Your current address
Please be sure to specify which level of the exam you plan to take when you book a spot in a DELE exam preparation course.
Results come out approximately five months after the exam, at which point we will receive a list with the names of the successful candidates and subsequently communicate the results to you. Approximately one month later, the Instituto Cervantes will send the original certificate to your home.

Official exam dates 2009: May 15th, August 21st & November 13th. The exams are scheduled by the Instituto Cervantes.
Preparation course for any of the 3 DELE levels (Initial, Intermediate & Superior).
The price does not include the exam fee (aprox. 120-200€). The exam takes place in May, August & November. The exact dates and prices for the exam are published by the “Instituto Cervantes” a month and half before the exam day. To formally register for the exam, please bring us a copy of your passport together with your personal details, full payment and permanent address the 1st day the course starts. Please confirm exact 2009 dates contacting our Head Office. Inscription fee: 5€ + exam fee.
Minimum age required for the examination: 16 years old
Passing DELE exam: Enforex guarantees that those students who complete a course of 3 or more months and who have had at least a 90% attendance rate will pass the DELE exam at the level of Spanish that they have acquired through the course. If the student does not pass said exam, Enforex will offer the student a fre 4-week intensive+ course (20+5 lessons per week).
General Terms:
- Registration & application fee: 65€
- Enforex Textbook + exercise book: 30€ per set.
- Max. 14 students per class
- 1 lesson = 55 minutes
- Learn Spanish while Traveling: combine different cities at no extra cost (except Malaga & Pamplona)!
- +5: The 5 cultural lessons cover various aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture and civilization. These classes are available five times per week and are complimentary to the regular courses. The maximum number of students in these classes is 16.
