ExpoJove 26 December – 4 January Feria Valencia, Avd. de las ferias s/n, 46035, Valencia The 89th edition of the Children’s Fair of Valencia begins on the 26th of December which is when children and adults alike will be able to enjoy workshops, films, games and much more.

Exposicion de Jean Claude Farhi Jean Claude Farhi exhibition Until January Umbracle, Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias The artist Jean Claude Farhi presents his work, made up of 11 pieces of iron. They show a marked geometry, dominating the spaces and colors of the different types of iron.	Ewa Okolowicz – Fugas Pictoricas Ewa Okolowicz – Pictorial Fugues Until 17 December Kessler-Battaglia, Pasaje Giner, 2, Valencia A selection of the artist’s latest works which reflect upon the relationship between music and painting, which according to Ewa Okolowicz have a lot of common ground.	Imaginary – con mirada matematica Imaginary – with a mathematical look 20 December – 5 February Universidad de Valencia, Universitat, 2, Valencia An interesting look at how art and maths can be combined. There are a number of exhibits that will show which equations are required to construct a lemon, or the Alhambra Palace.
Evarist Navarro Until 15 January IVAM, Guillem de Castro, 118 Evarist Navarro is a Valencian artist who helped bring Spanish sculpture into the lime light during the 1980s. The exhibition deals with the construction of memory through sculptures and installations.	Robert Morris. El dibujo como pensamiento Robert Morris. Drawing as thought Until 8 January IVAM, Guillen de Castro, 118, Valencia A collection of drawings spanning 50 years of the artistic career of Robert Morris including many of his recreations of Works by Goya.	Claudio Zirotti – Sin tiempo Claudio Zirotti – Without time Until 22 January IVAM, Guillen de Castro, 118, Valencia A new Project by the artist Claudio Zirotti which depicts stones and times: stones as an object, and time as an ephemeral concept.
Gianluigi Colin Until 22 January IVAM, Guillen de Castro, 118, Valencia A new exhibition of the works of Gianluigi Colin which deals with the theme of myths. In particular, Colin has tried to represent the modern day myths and legends in his work.	Nieves Torralba – r Until 8 January Universidad de Valencia, Universitat, 2 (La Nau), Valencia ‘r’ is the new project by Nieves Torralba. The works included are about symbols and signs such as hidden letters and messages.	El Surrealismo en el Nuevo milenio Surrealism in the New Millennium Until 8 January IVAM, Guillen de Castro, 118, Valencia This exhibition concerns the surreal millennium in its true, unedited form, following its developments from the 1990s to the present day. The collection includes a number of sculptures, videos, performances, and installations by various international artists.

Los Delinqüentes 3 December, 9pm Mirror, San Vicente, 200, Valencia This band from Jerez de la Frontera has a great mix of influences, from flamenco, to rock, to Blues, giving them a fresh and varied style.	Presuntos Implicados 14 December, 9pm Gran Teatre D’Alzira, Plaza de Alborxi, s/n, Alzira The trio from Valencia has entered a new era with their new lead singer, Lidia. Their latest songs are much more sad and perplexing than their previous works.	Nick Lowe 15 December, 9.30pm Loco Club, Erudito Orellana, 12, Valencia Nick Lowe was a Veteran even during the New wave era in the UK, and has produced a number of albums. His latest work deals with how to age elegantly in the rock business.
Orquesta de Valencia 16 December Palau de la Música de Valencia, Paseo de la Alameda, 30, Valencia The local orchestra was created in 1943 and has always been renowned for its excellence over the years. This concert will take place in their headquarters, the Palau de la Música de Valencia.	Concierto de Navidad Christmas Concert 18 December, 11.30am Palau de la Música de Valencia, Paseo de la Alameda, 30, Valencia A classical concert for the Christmas period.	Antonio Orozco 29 December, 9pm Palau de la Música de Valencia, Paseo de la Alameda, 30, Valencia Antonio Orozco discovered his passion for music as a teenager. He originally began singing pop but then progressed to flamenco, his family being from Sevilla.

THEATRE, PERFORMANCE & DANCE
1,618… Da Vinci 2 December, 10.30pm Teatre Serrano, Germanies, 9, Gandia 1,618…Da Vinci is a representation of the admiration of the genius of Da Vinci by the Valencia dance company, Cienfuegos Danza.	Luis Piedrahita 2 December, 11pm Teatro Flumen, Gregorio Gea, 15, Valencia Magician, comedian, writer, director – Luis Piedrahita is a true entertainer. This particular show is a stand up show about the small things in life that no one notices.	Romeo y Julieta Romeo and Juliet 10-11 December Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Autopista del Saler, 1, Valencia Based on the classic work by William Shakespeare, this version of Romeo and Juliet is performed by the Mariinsky Ballet of Saint Petersburg in Russia, a dance troupe renowned for their excellence and tradition.
Una jornada particular A Special Day 16 December, 10.30pm Teatre Serrano, Germanies, 9, Gandia The theatre company, La Pavana, has brought the classic Italian story ‘Una giornatta particolare’ by Ettore Scola to the stage. The story has been adapted however so that it deals with the oppression under the Franco regime in Spain.	El mago de Oz The Wizard of Oz 18 December, 7.30pm Auditori Riba-Roja, Major, 135, Riba-roja de Túria A dance version of the classic story by Frank Baum which has been directed and produced by the award-winning Ananda Dansa group.	40 El Musical 40 The Musical 22 December – 8 January Teatro Olympia, San Vicente Mártit, 44, Valencia A musical inspired by the radio station, 40 Principales, which has now been running for 40 years. The musical features a number of different songs from across the generations, from Los Secretos to Lady GaGa.
