Immersion in Spain's culture is what distinguishes a linguistic immersion program in Spain with an immersion colony in your home country. Many of our students express interest in going the extra mile and really immersing themselves in the culture, which is why we are thrilled to provide several ways in which students can get an additional in-depth comprehension of Valencian and Spanish culture.

Culture Immersion: Christmas Traditions in Valencia

Festivals and holidays serve as cultural stages upon which traditions of all kinds - music, dance, food, etc. - are given the starring role. We want our students to experience these special times of year, which is why our schools are open all year round, including Christmas time. Christmas is a special time of year in Spain and a wonderful time to experience the local traditions... and compare them with your own!

Culture Immersion: "+5" Intensive Courses

You are bound to notice that some of our Intensive Spanish course options include a "+5" option. These courses include 5 lessons each week dedicated to introducing students to a variety of cultural topics that are bound to enrich their understanding of the Spanish language and culture.

• Courses: Intensive+ (20 + 5) or Super Intensive + (25 + 5)
• Includes: 1 culture lesson each day to complement your Spanish language lessons
• Culture topics: Acquaint yourself with a variety of topics that will open your eyes to the richness of Spanish-language culture through literature, cinema, music, dance and much more.
